SPICY MUSSELS STEAM

Ingredients  To Cook Spicy Mussels Steam

2 pounds mussels, washed and beards removed
4 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 large onion, diced
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 (2-inch piece) ginger, minced
2 serrano chile peppers, seeded & diced
1 teaspoon curry powder
2 teaspoons ground coriander
1/2 cup white wine
1/4 cup H2O
3 tablespoons heavy cream
Freshly ground black pepper
1/2 bunch fresh cilantro, leaves chopped
3 scallions, sliced
1 lime, zested and juiced
1 huge ciabatta loaf, sliced into 1/2-inch thick diagonal slices
2 tablespoons olive oil

Steps To Cook Spicy Mussels Steam

Step 1  To Cook Spicy Mussels Steam

Select through the rinsed mussels making sure that they are all tightly closed and all of the beards have been removed.

heat a wide Dutch oven through limited inflame & add the veggie oil.

When the oil is warm, add up the onions, garlic, & ginger & saute ’til translucent, around 5 minutes.

Sum Up the chilies, curry powder, and coriander & cook for two additional mins. Add the wine & the water and boil.

At One Time the mix is stewing, add the mussels & cover. Steam the mussels for around 6-8 minutes, stirring from time to time, until they have all opened.

Remove the mussels from the ignite & toss some that are close. Place the mussels into a large serving platter, cover to keep warm.

Step 7  To Cook Spicy Mussels Steam

Turn Back the cooking pan to the inflame, add up the cream, flavour with pepper, to taste, and bring to a simmer. Add Up the scallions, lime zest, cilantro & juice. Pour the liquid on the top of the mussels.

Step 8  To Cook Spicy Mussels Steam

Preheat a grill pan to moderate-high heat. Drizzle the bread w/ olive oil & grille one min per face. Serve w/ the steamed mussels.
