BAKED SALMON STEAKS

Ingredients to Cook Baked Salmon Steaks

3 salmon steaks
lemon juice
Ritz crackers, crumbled
garlic and onion powder
3 pats butter (1 tablespoon each)
salt & pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, minced

Steps to Cook Baked Salmon Steaks

Step 1 to Cook Baked Salmon Steaks

Spray a light sided aluminum baking pan with olive oil.

Step 2 to Cook Baked Salmon Steaks

Order fish steaks on baking pan. Sprinkle evenly w/ garlic & onion powder & a pinch each of salt and pepper.

Step 3 to Cook Baked Salmon Steaks

In a microwaveable dish, melt butter; toss crushed crackers in butter.

Step 4 to Cook Baked Salmon Steaks

Dust the cracker mixture evenly over the top of the fish. Sprinkle with minced parsley.

Step 5 to Cook Baked Salmon Steaks

Broil (on the top rack), w/out turning, until the edges of the fish are browned and the flesh is a whitish pink & it comes to look crisp when touched with a fork. This will take about 10-15 minutes, depending on your oven (or grill) & the size of the fish steak.

Step 6 to Cook Baked Salmon Steaks

Squeeze lemon juice over top before serving garnished with a sprig of fresh parsley & lemon wedges.

Step 7 to Cook Baked Salmon Steaks

Heat grill to at least 400°F on a gas grill, or if using briquettes, coals should be white hot.
