Ingredients

36 double Saltine crackers (2 c.)
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. dried dill weed or oregano
2 eggs
2 tbsp. water
1 pt. oysters, well drained
Cooking oil

Steps

Step 1

Crush crackers & blend crumbs with salt, paprika, & dill weed.

Step 2

Split and set one-half over two flat plates.

Step 3

Beat eggs well & sum up H2O.

Step 4

sink every oyster on both faces into 1 plate of crumbs, then sum up egg mix and last into the different plate of crumbs.

Step 5

Get stand about 30 minutes, cool, to firm crumbs.

Step 6

Fry in deep oil (at 365 degrees) until crisp & golden. Do not over cook.

Step 7

Drain and keep warm for serving.
