STEPS
Step 1 To Cook Asparagus
Rinse spears in clean water to washout any remaining soil or sand from the tips.
Step 2 To Cook Asparagus

Step 3 To Cook Asparagus
Boil asparagus in 1 inch of salted H2O in a wide skillet for three to five mins.. Straightaway wash them under cool water to stop the cooking and maintain the bright green color.

Steam asparagus spears or bits for three mins., and clean on clear water.

cook asparagus in a 500 degree F oven for 3 to 5 min, or until tender. Roasting is usually best for thicker spears.

Stir-fry 2-inch lengths of asparagus with black bean sauce for a change of pace. Or stir-fry with garlic and ginger and toss with a little dark benny oil.
Step 7 To Cook Asparagus
Grill asparagus by skewering four or 5 spears together, having a raft that forbids single spears from slipping between the grill bars. Buy the thickest spears you can find & safe them with bamboo skewers about two inches from the top and 1 inch from the tail end. the skewers off where they exit the raft. Brush the raft with olive oil, put with salt & pepper and grill through moderate heat for about five mins..
