Ingredients To Cook Baked Clam Casserole

1 tbsp. onion, chopped
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. parsley
1/4 c. bread crumbs
2 tbsp. olive oil
1 (8 or 10 1/2 oz.) can minced clams
1/8 tsp. salt
Parmesan cheese

Steps To Cook Baked Clam Casserole

Step 1 To Cook Baked Clam Casserole

Saute onion, garlic powder, oregano, parsley, bread crumbs in oil for around 2 min, mixing thoroughly.

Step 2 To Cook Baked Clam Casserole

When onion and garlic begin to brown, take away mixture from stove and mix in clams, juice and salt.

Step 3 To Cook Baked Clam Casserole

Spoon into dishes or casserole dish, splash lightly with additional bread crumbs & cheese.

Step 4 To Cook Baked Clam Casserole

Bake in 375 degree oven for around 25-30 min or ’til browned.

1 quart shucked clams
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup cold H2O
half teaspoon salt
3/4 cup finely ground yellow corn flour
1/3 cup all purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon onion powder

Steps to Cook Fried Clams

Step 1 To Cook Fried Clams

Rinse clams and let to sit under refrigeration for several hours in a combination of half cup each of milk & water merged w/ half teaspoon salt.

Mix well the all purpose and fine corn flour & onion powder in a shallow dish.

Drain clams shortly & dip in mixture.

Step 4 To Cook Fried Clams

Deep fry in hot oil, about 365 degrees, until golden brown. Fry a few at a time ’til you have the normal temperature. Don’t add too many at once because this will lower the temperature too promptly.

Drain on clean paper towels & season to taste w/ salt & pepper while hot.

6 potatoes, cut in 1/2″ cubes
1 quart clams
1/2 lb. pork, sliced
1 pint tomatoes, canned or fresh ripe

1 or 2 rolled crackers (optional)

In a large oven, fry strips of pork over low heat, then chop and return to pot.

1 small can minced clams
half c. clam stock or liquid
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder

Drain clams well, reserving 1/2 cup of clam broth liquid.

Mix every ingredients. Drop by tablespoonfuls into average hot oil in a deep fryer or large frying pan.

Oil that is too hot or cakes which are too huge will make burning or rare centers. Adjust temperature up or down slightly to compensate. A good starting temperature is 360 degrees.

The clam cakes will float; turn them over gently as they rise to fully cook both sides. Do not overload the cooker, as this will reduce heat too much. Fry just a few at a time.

2 cups buttermilk
2 cups Italian-style breadcrumbs
1/2 pound, small, shucked clams
1/2 pound, small, shucked oysters
1 lemon, cut in half
Sea salt
1 1/2 cups marinara or arrabiata sauce, warmed
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes, optional, if using marinara sauce

Pour enough olive oil in a huge, deep, heavy frying to achieve a depth of three ins. Heat the oil over limited heat until a deep-fry thermometer shows 350 degrees F.
