Video Tutorial On How To Cook Pork Roast

Ingrdients to Cook a Pork Roast

1 (3-5 lb.) pork loin roast
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
2 tbsp. Dijon mustard
1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges
1/4 c. light brown sugar
1/4 c. vinegar
1 chicken bouillon cube
1 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. water
1 med. onion, chopped
1/3 c. green pepper, chopped

Steps to Cook Pork Roast

Step 1 to Cook Pork Roast

Wash and pat dry pork roast.

Step 2 to Cook Pork Roast

Sprinkle with salt, pepper and garlic powder.

Step 3 to Cook Pork Roast

Spread Dijon mustard over roast.

Step 4 to Cook Pork Roast

Place in large Dutch oven, cover and bake at 375 degrees (170 degrees on meat thermometer).

Step 5 to Cook Pork Roast

Drain mandarin oranges and reserve liquid & set oranges aside.

Step 6 to Cook Pork Roast

Combine orange liquid, brown sugar, vinegar, chicken bouillon, soy sauce, cornstarch and water.

Step 7 to Cook Pork Roast

Mix and cook until smooth and thickened.

Step 8 to Cook Pork Roast

Remove from heat, stir in onion, oranges and green pepper.

Step 9 to Cook Pork Roast

Spoon sauce over roast and bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes uncovered.

Step 10 to Cook Pork Roast

Slice and serve warm with drippings.

PORK RIBS

Ingredients

2 lbs boneless pork ribs
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
1 medium onion
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground allspice
4 cloves of garlic (minced)
1 tablespoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground mustard
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 Tablespoons of flour
1/4 cup of H2O

Step 1 TO COOK PORK RIBS: Make the Sauce

1. Peel the onion and chop it into wedge shapes.
2. Put the onions at the bottom of your slow cooker.
3. Order pork ribs on top of the onions.
4. Skin the garlic and then chop the cloves.
5. Blend the maple syrup, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce and garlic into a moderate-sized bowl.
6. Stir until everything has blended evenly.
7. Add into the dry spices & continue to stir until entire ingredients are equally blended.
8. Pour the mixture over the ribs into the slow cooker.

Step 2 TO COOK PORK RIBS: Cook the Ribs

1. Wrap Up the slow cooker & put it along small for about 5-6 hours, or until meat is tender.
2. Move Out the ribs from the slow cooker & continue them warm.
3. Drain the left over liquid from the slow cooker into a little pan.
4. Thicken the cooking liquid in a sauce for your ribs.
a. Make a thickening agent by blending flour & water & whisking until the mix smooths out.
b. mix the flour mixture in the cooking liquid
5. Bring the cooking thickened sauce to a boiling point on average-low inflame.
6. Continue to whisk and let it cook for around 2 min, or until liquid is thickened.
7. Pour the sauce over your ribs & serve the dish.

PORK BARBECUE

Ingredients TO COOK PORK BARBECUE :

750 g. of pork rump or butt
15 bamboo skewers

For the marinade TO COOK PORK BARBECUE :

juice of 12 pcs. of kalamansi (native lemon), about 1/3 c.
1/2 c. of dark soy sauce
2 tbsp. of finely minced garlic
1 onion, finely chopped
1/4 c. of catsup (banana catsup, preferably)
1 tsp. of ground black pepper
2 tbsp. of sugar

Cooking procedure TO COOK PORK BARBECUE :

Step 1 TO COOK PORK BARBECUE

Rub two bamboo skewers together to smoothen them. Do it again for the rest. rinse them under the water tap and soak in H2O for at least 30 min prior to practice to void burn in the grill.

Step 2 TO COOK PORK BARBECUE

Cut the pork meat into 1/4 inch slices. Cut the cuts in 2″ x three inches pieces. Position in a glass bowl,

Step 3 TO COOK PORK BARBECUE

Combine unitedly all the ingredients for the marinade and pour out on the pork meat. Blend in the marinade well w/ the meat with your hands. Wrap Up and allow stand in the fridge for at least one hour, combining the meat each fifteen min or so to get the pork parts marinate evenly.

Step 4 TO COOK PORK BARBECUE

Drain the bamboo skewers and wipe with a clean kitchen towel. Thread the pork pieces, around 5 pieces per bamboo skewer. Hold the left over marinade for basting.

Step 5 TO COOK PORK BARBECUE

Grill around 6 inches from live coals. Applying a kitchen sweep, baste with the marinade every few min on both faces. To test for doneness, cut a piece of pork at the centre of the skewer. If the juices flow clear, the meat is done.
