Make Gluten Free Quinoa Salad Recipes



Ingredients TO COOK QUINOA:

* 1 cup quinoa
* 1 1/2 cups cold H2O
* Optional: 1/2 tsp salt

Steps 1

Soak the quinoa for 15 minutes in the cooking pot. Dripping helps quinoa to cook evenly, and loosens up the outer coating of saponin, which can make a bitter taste if not removed

If you don’t have time for a longer soaking, use hot water & soak for 5 min

To Wash: Stir the quinoa w/ your hand, & carefully pour off the washing water, using a adequate net strainer at the end

Steps 4

Drain quinoa well in the strainer, put it to the cooking pot, sum up 1 1/2 cups water & 1/2 teaspoon salt if preferred

Steps 5

Bring to a boiling point, cover w/ a difficult fitting lid, and turn the ignite down to simmer

Steps 6

prepare for 15 minutes

Steps 7

Remove quinoa from heat and let to sit five min with the lid along

Steps 8

Fluff quinoa lightly w/ a fork and serve.
